Thanks for your wonderful comments on my posts and especially for your prayers for my Frankie. She is home and resting comfortably. We have a long week ahead of us but we've been through an awful lot in the 23 years since we first met. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. Truer word were never spoken. Our strength is immeasurable, especially the strength of our faith in the Lord and in each other, our family and our friends........the family we get to choose. I made a great choice in you! God bless you, Patsy and may you and yours have a safe, happy and healthy 4th of July and many, many more to come.

Hi Patsy...my Mom just got back from visiting her family in West Virginia. They live in Clarksburg...I have many fond memories of those beautiful mountains and visits to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Hope you are having a great day!

Bore me? You've got to be kidding. I taught Frankie to shag and she taught me to clog. They call it flat footin' or just footin' in these parts.
While reading this I was back home, in my memory at least; exploring the Yorktown battlefield with Frankie the first summer we were together, pulling and setting gill nets on the tides with Dad and him trying to get me to eat raw oysters right out of the Lynnhaven River 1/4 mile from the hose when I was a kid. With every word you wrote the smell of salt air, coconut oil and hot sand grew stronger in my memory. Between you and Rhonda tweaking my memories I'll always be close to home no matter where I roam. I owe the two of you the thanks. God bless you.
